Endpoint role
A lightweight relay, not a customer data store
Collection gateways establish authenticated sessions with regional relays. This node performs connection validation, short-term buffering and secure forwarding without exposing customer dashboards or long-term storage.
Transient buffering
Short-lived buffering absorbs transport interruptions. The node is not intended for persistent customer data retention.
Restricted access
Relay sessions are available only to provisioned gateways. Regional node hosts do not expose interactive account management.
Connection model
Designed for enrolled infrastructure
Public web access provides endpoint metadata, documentation and health information. Relay transports remain restricted to enrolled collection gateways and control-plane services.
